Today I’m sharing a fun Double Star Shaker Card using the Product of the Month – Rising Stars! 🌟
I pulled out several different DSPs from my stash, grabbed some shaker elements and ribbon, and had fun creating a few different looks. For the Halloween card, instead of using gems, I added some cute little googly eyes 👀 for a little extra fun!
I also mixed and matched various stamp sets for the sentiments, which is always a great way to use what you already have in your craft room.

Double Star Shaker Card Instructions
1. Start with a half sheet of cardstock, 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, and fold it in half to create your card base.
2. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 4” x 5-1/4”. Die cut a large star from the center.
3. Cut a piece of Window Sheet 4” x 5-1/4” and adhere it to the back of the Designer Series Paper.
4. Add Dimensional Strips around the entire back, making sure there are no gaps where the sequins can escape.
5. Add your shaker sequins or elements.
6. Cut another piece of cardstock or Designer Series Paper 4” x 5-1/4”. I used Swirls of Magic. Adhere this over the back to seal in the shaker elements.
Create the Smaller Star Shaker
7. Take the large DSP star you cut from the first layer and die cut a smaller star from the center to create a star-shaped frame.
8. Using Tear & Tape, adhere a piece of Window Sheet behind the star opening.
9. Add Dimensional Strips around the back of the star, again making sure there are no gaps.
10. Add your shaker sequins.
11. Die cut another star the same size from white cardstock or coordinating paper. I used Swirls of Magic again. Adhere it to the back to seal your second shaker.
Assemble the Card
12. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the large 4” x 5-1/4” shaker panel and adhere the panel to your card base.
13. Layer the smaller star shaker onto the front of the card.
14. Finish your card with a sentiment, gems, and a bow tied around the ribbon.
15. Stamp and decorate the inside of your card.
And there you have it — your Double Star Shaker Card!
