Cracked Glass Techique Sample Card

Inspired by  a fellow demonstrators video on Cracked Glass , I did my version of it for my class this coming Sunday using, the Petal Passion DSP #145589 I used regular markers for coloring , I am Happy with the results I hope my girls will be!
Also used was the Leaf  Punch still available # 144667 ( I used Old Olive and Vellum cardstock) and Black shimmer ribbon and also the Calypso Coral Ombre from the annual catalog..

This technique can be achieved by placing several coats of clear embossing power over the entire area, letting it dry in between each coat ( 4-6 coats usually the best for maximum effect) then slowly start pinching the paper to make it crack but not to hard , you don't want to bend the paper ...

Its a great  fun and easy technique to try!

then just embellish as you want!
