Pretty Poinsettia Bundle Interactive Fun Fold Christmas Card

Card Base

* Start with ½ sheet of cardstock (5-1/2” x 8-1/2”).
* Score at 4-1/4” and fold in half.
* On the front flap, score again at 2-1/8” and fold.
* Using a circle die, cut a circle opening from the front flap.
* Emboss the front flap with your favorite embossing folder.

Inside Panel

* Cut the Peaceful Pine Shimmer Paper to 4” x 5-1/4”.
* Cut the Striped Shimmer Paper to 3-3/4” x 5”.
* Die cut the leafy sprigs from green cardstock.
* Layer the Peaceful Pine Shimmer Paper over the Striped Shimmer Paper.
* Adhere the leafy sprigs to the Striped Shimmer Paper,
* Adhere the completed panel to the inside of the card.

Poinsettia

* Die cut four poinsettia layers from your desired cardstock.
* Curl the petals slightly with a bone folder or stylus to add dimension.
* Layer the four poinsettia pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals between each layer to create a beautiful dimensional flower.

Back Panel

* Cut a piece of Peaceful Pine Designer Series Paper to 4” x 5-1/4”.
* Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3-3/4” x 5”.
* Stamp your sentiment and any coordinating image on the white layer.
* Adhere the white layer to the Peaceful Pine Designer Series Paper and attach it to the back of the card. This creates the perfect place to write your personal message.

Front Flap

* Stamp your greeting on a sentiment strip and adhere it to the front flap.
* Tie a coordinating ribbon around the front flap.
* Finish by adding coordinating gems for a little extra sparkle.

Tip: Change the color of the poinsettia to create a completely different look. Traditional red, icy blue, elegant white, or even gold all make beautiful Christmas cards with this fun fold design!

Easel Card Instructions

1. Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 4-1/4” x 11”.

2. Score at 5-1/2” and fold in half.

3. Score the front panel again at 2-3/4” and fold it back to create the easel.

4. Layer your coordinating cardstock and Designer Series Paper onto both front panels.

5. Decorate the front by adding your die-cut images and sentiment.

Inside the Card:

1. Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4” x 5-1/4” and adhere it to the inside.

2. Stamp your inside sentiment toward the bottom of the white panel.

3. Create a “stopper” by adhering a couple of die-cut images (such as the Pretty Poinsettia die cuts) near the bottom of the panel. Pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals so they hold the front of the easel card in place when it’s open.

4. Finish your card with ribbon, gems, and any additional embellishments for a festive touch.

Tip: When displayed, the folded front panel rests against the raised poinsettia, creating the beautiful easel effect.
