Fun Fold Card Instructions

Supplies Needed:

• Cardstock: 7-1/4” x 5-1/2” (card base), 3” x 4”, 4” x 5-1/4”, 1” x 4” (hinge strip)

• Designer Series Paper (DSP): 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”, 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” (2 if you want one for the inside panel ) 

• Adhesive

• Stamps, sentiment, ribbon, gems (for decorating)

Instructions:

1. Create Card Base

Take your 7-1/4” x 5-1/2” piece of cardstock and score it at 3” along the long side.

Fold on the score line to form a side flap.

2. Front Panel DSP

Adhere the 2-3/4” x 5-1/4” piece of Designer Series Paper onto the front panel (the 3” flap).

3. Build Focal Panel

Take the 3” x 4” piece of cardstock.

Layer the 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” piece of Designer Series Paper onto it and glue in place.

4. Create the Hinge

Fold the 1” x 4” cardstock strip in half to create a 1” x 2” folded hinge.

Use strong adhesive to glue one side of the hinge to the back of the 3” x 4” panel (centered on the left edge).

Glue the other side of the hinge to the front flap of the card, positioning the panel so it opens like a book.

5. Inside Panel

Stamp your inside sentiment on the 4” x 5-1/4” cardstock.

Adhere it to the inside of the card.

6. Finishing Touches

Add your sentiment to the front panel.

Embellish with ribbon, gems, and other accents as desired.
